Health and Safety Courses

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
For up to 4 delegates requiring the use of MEWP’s. This course provides basic training with the required health and safety. The trainee will be able to operate the Platform to a standard but will require supervision until he/she gains confidence and skill.
 
Overhead Crane Driver / Operator
To raise the trainee's knowledge of the duties of a Crane Operator / Driver. To be able to control the Cranes load, Sling and Banksman and deliver loads to a given area safely.
 
Manual Handling
To raise the trainee's knowledge of Manual Handling regulations and be able to estimate lifts to maintain his/her safety
 
Fire Awareness / Fire Extinguisher Use
To make employees aware of the requirements of the company of the course of action required of them in a fire situation
 
Risk Assessment Writing
To inform or instruct employees on the use of and writing of day to day work risk assessments
 
Abrasive Wheels Regulation
To raise the trainee’s knowledge of grinding wheels regulations and be able to safely change a grinding wheel on a hand held grinder, change a wheel on a bench or Pedestal grinder and to dress a wheel true and flat
 
Ladder Safety
To educate the users of ladders of their purpose and safe handling and use
 
Tower Safety (Zip Up)
To instruct the operator in the correct and safe way to assemble and use of aluminium assembly towers and make them aware of the safe methods of working at heights when using towers
 
Harness Course
To instruct the trainee on the legislation and wearing of a harness on all equipment
 
Working From Heights

To make the operators aware of the safe methods of working at heights by writing Risk Assessments for the tasks
